I Just Received My Biggest Paycheck

Here’s what I earned for working 20 hours in a month.

A few days ago, I received my biggest payment to date.

For a month’s work that includes writing articles, social media posts, and strategizing content, the client paid me 2400 USD.

That’s about ₹1,76,000 from just 30 days’ worth of work.

I wrote four articles, made one YouTube video, and wrote about 3–4 social media posts to receive this amount. The whole work must have taken me about 20 hours, but it paid much more than I have ever earned in a single go in my life.

Do you think these are cool results?

They certainly are amazing, but they came to me after writing for free for seven years. I learned some valuable skills, tricks, and tactics that led me to where I am today.

Does that mean every person who wants to be a successful writer has to wait so long before they can be rich?

No! With the right mindset and skill set, you can start earning a lot today.

The mindset shifts that helped

The exponential growth didn’t happen magically. There were some mindset shifts that helped me build a successful writing business. Summing them up, here’s what helped me in a nutshell:

1. You need to be super detached from your work, whether you taste success or failure. If you can detach yourself from the results, you can keep on writing. You can be patient, especially when things are not completely in your control.
2. You need to always be ready to adapt. Be ready to change the platform, your niche, your writing style, and anything else you need to do to survive in the cut-throat competitive world of online writing.
3. Don’t treat writing like a hobby, a craft, or your art. If you want to be successful, famous, and rich, you have to treat your writing like a business.
