Seductive glances, exchanged in secret
A few feet apart near the fast-dying fires.
Gather some courage, whisper in your ear
“Am I what your heart desires?”
A smile to light up your face in the dark
A wave of Goosebumps on your skin.
Hand in hand we walk to your room
Winking knowingly, as you let me in.
You taste sweet — sweeter than freedom
And smell like a chocolaty cake.
I know you want me ‘smuch as I do
this craving is more than I can take.
Sweaty palms, soft lips
Two hearts dancing together as one.
Rasping breaths, whispered moans
Much more to come ‘ere the night’s done.
Hands so delicate, a grip so strong
A fragrance more intoxicating than wine.
This may be a sin, I may be wrong
But for tonight, being together feels divine.
I know your smile, not what you hide beneath
You know not the story behind my tears.
But we’re perfect, only for tonight ‘cause
Now’s not the time for doubts or fears.
I come from a country where Medium hasn’t introduced the Partner Program yet. So if you liked this post, you might consider buying me a beer.
I’m excited to share this with you — I recently published my first book Stolen Reflection: Some stories are told in verse. It is a collection of hand-picked poems and short prose, available in both paperback and e-book formats worldwide. If you like what I write, go ahead and give this book a read. ❤
